On July 25, 2018, Specialty Chemical Industries Inc. (the “Company“) filed an assignment into bankruptcy pursuant to the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (“BIA“) and GlassRatner Inc. (“B. Riley Farber”) was appointed as Trustee in Bankruptcy.
Status Updates
The First Meeting of Creditors took place on August 14, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Office of the Trustee, 150 York Street, Suite 1600, Toronto, Ontario.
On November 13, 2018, GlassRatner was appointed receiver by RPG Receivables Purchase Group Inc. pursuant to a default of a general security agreement dated February 8, 2016.
