On June 19, 2020, CellAegis Devices Inc. (the “Company”) filed an assignment into bankruptcy pursuant to the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (“BIA”) and GlassRatner Inc. (“GlassRatner“) was appointed as Trustee in Bankruptcy.
Status Update
The First Meeting of Creditors was held on July 9, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. via telephone conference.
Sale Process
GlassRatner conducted a sale process to invite offers for the purchase of all of the rights, title and interest in the Company’s assets, property and undertakings (the “Assets”).
The Assets included the following:
- Inventory
- Intellectual Property
Interested Parties had until 5:00 p.m. EST Friday, August 28, 2020 to submit a binding offer directly to the Trustee.
The sale process was concluded on October 7, 2020.
