On June 3, 2025, Workhaus Co-Working Inc. (the “Company“) filed a Notice of Intention to Make a Proposal (“NOI”) under Section 50.4 of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, R.S.C. 1985, c. B-3, as amended (the “BIA”), and GlassRatner Restructuring Inc. (“GlassRatner) was appointed as proposal trustee in the Companies’ NOI proceedings (in such capacity, the “Proposal Trustee”).
Status Updates
On June 30, 2025, the Company filed a Proposal with the Proposal Trustee as required. The Proposal Trustee issued a Notice of Proposal Package to all creditors on July 2, 2025.
A General Meeting of Creditors to consider and vote on the Proposal was held via Microsoft Teams on July 21, 2025. The Proposal was approved by the creditors.
On September 16, 2025, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice in Bankruptcy and Insolvency (the “Court“) approved the Proposal. A copy of the order can be found below.
