He has more than 15 years of relevant experience providing services across debt restructuring, bankruptcy, insolvency, and turnaround and restructuring engagements.
Mr. Singh has extensive experience working with businesses, lenders and varied stakeholders under complex scenarios, often with completing rights and interests, and helping the stakeholders navigate through the challenges while protecting and preserving the value for all.
His work focuses on advising businesses, lenders and other stakeholders in both informal and formal insolvency engagements with an emphasis on finding a practical solution that balances the interests of all parties involved.
He has assisted clients across a wide range of industries including Logistics and Transportation, Real Estate, Precision Machinery Manufacturing, Hospitality and retail.
Select client experience
• Bankruptcy trustee of a precision machinery manufacturing company having operations across North America, Mexico and Turkey and coordinating an orderly winding up of the company and negotiating recovery from multiple clients through the bankruptcy process
• Court appointed receiver and manager for a real estate developer with multiple projects under development. Strategizing and coordinating the sale of each project site with multiple stakeholders, including the site contractors asserting liens, preconstruction unit purchasers, city authorities and the lenders and running the sales process resulting in substantial recovery to the lender.
• Bankruptcy Trustee for a real estate developer involved in alleged misappropriation of depositor funds, successfully coordinating the release of depositor funds from escrow agent under supervision of the court.
• Trustee in the matter of Proposal of a service provider with significant debt and assisted the restructuring by successfully negotiating a structured repayment plan with multiple classes of creditors, aligned with its anticipated cash flow, giving the company an opportunity to continue its operations.
• Led the team for an Insolvency engagement of a multinational construction company, coordinating the continued operations, effective communication with multiple lenders, contractors, service providers and assisting with the negotiation of a going concern sale.
